Bollywood stars are passe. If theres one celebrity every designer is dying to invite to their front row, its Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the charismatic daughter of UPA President Sonia Gandhi.

Lifestyle India Fashion Week, which is currently on in the Capital. Priyankas style is all about intelligent fashion. We would love to have her as our front row guest. But, she is a private person and has a policy not to attend public fashion events, says Rohit Gandhi of the designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna who are doing the Grand Finale show.

Mumbai-designer James Ferreiras collection is inspired by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Priyankas grandmother. For his show on Tuesday, models walked the ramp with their hair dyed white around the crown as a tribute to her. For me, nothing could have been better than having Priyanka as my front row guest. Of every celebrity in Delhi, shes the one who would top my list, he says.

Times up for The Hour as flagging chat show axed - Herald Scotland

It was supposed to be Scotlands answer to Richard and Judys popular television chat show formula with a heady mix of celebrity interviews, music, fashion and tips on food and drink that would send ratings skyward. However, viewer numbers plunged for The Hour, which began life as The Five Thirty Show in 2008, since it moved to a new evening time slot. Last night the broadcaster announced Tuesdays episode of the daily magazine show was the last barely a month after it had been shifted from its traditional 5pm slot to 8pm due to falling ratings. Website bosses at TorrentFreak.com, who have been investigating piracy in recent months, found that Avatar was downloaded an estimated 21 million times.
