New York Fashion Week 2011 Scores High on Collections & Celebrity Presence - Zimbio

The recently held New York Fashion Week showcasing Spring/ Summer 2012 collections was an event that created a lot of excitement not just in the fashion industry but in the media as well. The paparazzi were seen finding their place among fashion photographers in order to catch so many celebrities in action - supporting their favorite designers and exploring new ones. The fashion ensemble was huge with 250 designers and fashion labels exhibiting their spectacular creations for the coming Spring/ Summer at Lincoln Center and other venues in New York from September 8th through September 15th 2011.

All the creations especially those of Michael Kors, Vera Wang, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Charlotte Ronson, Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, Christian Siriano, Marchesa, Jason Wu gathered remarkable reviews and had many celebrities such as Nicky Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, Ali Wise, Byrdie Bell, Nicky Minaj, Emma Roberts, Vogue fashion editors Valerie Boster, Meredith Mellling Burke and others admiring their displays.

Ali Wise, the luxury and fashion brand consultant was seen with Sophia Bush, Leann Rimes, Chrissy Teigen, and fashion insider Louise Roe enjoying New York Fashion Week. She commented, New York Fashion Week is bubbling with a lot of energy. You can see the enthusiasm all over the city, the designers; it is exciting to be a part of it. Its hard to wait for spring to arrive!

Innovation rolled off on the runway not only in clothing but accessories as well, giving a message that the 2012 spring/ summer will be much more than colors and fabrics.

Listing out her favorite designers, Ali Wise, said, My favorites are of course Charlotte Ronson, DVF, & Proenza. It was also great to see new designers making their presence felt with their amazing collections.

Ali Wise who is a popular luxury brand consultant had an insiders view of major fashion runways and was also present at important after parties.

The New York Fashion Week displayed spring/ summer collections for 2012 and was held between September 8th 2011 and September 15th 2011.

Times up for The Hour as flagging chat show axed - Herald Scotland

It was supposed to be Scotlands answer to Richard and Judys popular television chat show formula with a heady mix of celebrity interviews, music, fashion and tips on food and drink that would send ratings skyward. However, viewer numbers plunged for The Hour, which began life as The Five Thirty Show in 2008, since it moved to a new evening time slot.
