Kareena Kapoor to walk the ramp for Manish Malhotra - Times of India

Manish Malhotra bends rules this time by having a celebrity showstopper in the form of close friend Kareena Kapoor at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week.

As we all know Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra believes in showcasing his designs more than having his glamorous friends from Bollywood as showstoppers. But not this year, as Manish will get his dear friend Kareena Kapoor to walk the ramp for him.

It can be recalled that Manish Malhotra did not have any celebrity showstoppers since past few years. "Manish still has the same thoughts about his designs as his focus is always on his designs than his showstoppers. But this time he has no choice but to have glamorous Bebo showcasing his designs", said a close friend.

Manish who is working with Kareena for most of her current films is excited to have her on grand finale. He confirms, "Kareena Kapoor is the new face of Lakme and my showstopper at the finale." Manish who is busy preparing for the grand finale, is also designing costumes for Karan Johar's next directorial venture Student of the Year .

Undoubtedlythere will be big Bollywood turnout at the grand finale including Manish's close pals and Kareena'a beau Saif Ali Khanwho will be there to cheer her up!
